Voting Hub

  • Updated

TurboVote users can access their personalized Voting Hub, with links to learn more about upcoming elections and action buttons to subscribe to election reminders, get help registering to vote, check their registration status, and more.

Discovery

The Voting Hub serves as each user's personalized command center for all their voting needs. Unlike static election information pages, the Voting Hub dynamically updates based on the user's specific address, showing only the elections they're eligible to vote in and the actions most relevant to their current voter status.

From your TurboVote homepage, users have two pathways to access their Voting Hub.

  • Enter Street Address: Users can enter their home address to be directed to their fully personalized Voting Hub. Users who have an upcoming election within 45 days will be directed to the relevant Election Guide instead of the Voting Hub after entering their home address.
  • Select Your State: For users who prefer a broader view or don't want to enter their full address, they can select their state to access their State Voting Hub.

Both discovery methods give users immediate access to actionable election information, though the address-based Voting Hub provides the most personalized and comprehensive experience.

Existing users signed up for TurboVote Election Reminders receive links to their Voting Hubs and Election Guides leading up to elections.

User Experience

The Voting Hub displays all elections specific to their exact location, including federal, state, and local races. The address-based approach ensures users see comprehensive information about every contest on their ballot, from presidential elections down to school board races.

When the user has upcoming elections available to display, their Voting Hub includes:

  • Countdown to the next election — days, hours, minutes, seconds
  • Prompt to view the Election Guide for the soonest major election
  • A list of other upcoming elections
  • A list of recently completed elections
  • Prompt to sign up to receive election reminders (if they have not already done so)
  • A button to get help with registering to vote
  • A button to check registration status

Election Coverage

TurboVote publishes guides for thousands of elections every year—from federal and statewide contests to local school board elections.

While our election coverage is ultimately determined by OCD-ID availability, we usually research elections for jurisdictions with at least 5,000 voters. However, we often extend our reach to cover smaller elections for jurisdictions with at least 100 TurboVote users as well.

The information in TurboVote originates from official government sources.

State Voting Hubs

For users who prefer to select their state instead of a specific address, TurboVote State Voting Hubs highlight upcoming statewide and major local elections and provide quick access to TurboVote registration tools and up-to-date FAQs on how to register and vote in a given state.
